FCC’s Pepper keynotes Broadcast Engineering Conference
Dr. Robert Pepper, Acting Chief, Office of Strategic Planning and Policy Analysis at the FCC, will deliver the opening address of this year’s NAB Broadcast Engineering Conference entitled “The Digital Revolution: The Future of Broadcasting.”The keynote will be at 9 a.m., April 17 at the LVCC in room N112.
Seidenberg, Fritts keynote All-Industry Opening Ceremony
NAB Pesident and CEO Eddie Fritts will deliver his annual State of the Industry Address and Verizon Communications CEO and Chairman Ivan Seidenberg will deliver the keynote address at this year’s All-Industry Opening Ceremony beginning at 9 a.m., April 18, in the Las Vegas Hilton Barron Room.
Ruiz keynotes Multimedia World
AMD CEO Hector Ruiz will deliver the keynote address at this year’s NAB MultiMedia World Conference. AMD designs and produces microprocessors, Flash memory devices and low-power processor solutions for the computer, communications and consumer electronics industries. The speech takes place at 10:45 a.m., April 18 in room S222 in the LVCC.

The Technology Luncheon takes place from noon-1:45 p.m., April 20. Dr. Robert W. Lucky, engineer, author, and commentator, is the keynote speaker. Lucky’s talk, titled “Is Bandwidth Infinite?,” will address whether bandwidth is a scarce resource or if it is virtually infinite.
