NAB’s DTV station list hits 1292

published Fifty-nine local television stations have joined the NAB's list of those broadcasting in digital television (DTV). This brings the latest total to 1292 over-the-air DTV stations, operating in 207 markets that serve 99.69 percent of U.S. TV households.
The NAB also said that 87.54 percent of the more than 106 million U.S. TV households are in markets with five or more broadcasters airing DTV, and 69.23 percent are in markets with eight or more broadcasters sending digital signals.
