NASA Filches TV Tower
By TVTechnology
published BERLIN, GERMANY: American space agency NASA co-opted a 1,200-foot television tower in Berlin, or so it would appear. A YouTube contributor had uploaded footage of the tower lifting off into the atmosphere, as if equipped with a coterie of igniters and solid-rocket boosters. The video is voiced-over with authentic NASA countdown audio.
The 1:29 minute clip was created by 28-year-old Fabian Tischer, who grew up near the tower and perceived it to be a rocket when he was a youngster, he told the Telegraph. Tischer’s video, “NASA Steals Berlin TV Tower,” had more than 81,000 hits as of this morning.
