Iowa-based cable operator Muscatine Power and Water has selected nCUBE's VOD server and software management platform for its launch of video on demand in Muscatine and throughout Muscatine county in the first quarter of 2003.
MP&W will use nCUBE's nABLE interactive management software and n4x video server to power the VOD service. nABLE On-Demand Management Sytem gives network operators a set of VOD business management and technical operation products, including real-time and historical intelligence reports. The n4x video server can store more than 200,000 hours of video content and support anywhere from 5,000 to 500,000 homes.
