Rumors were confirmed on Tuesday by George Hoover, Senior Vice President - Engineering of NEP Supershooters that the company will acquire National Mobil Television's ABC, ESPN and Fox contracts and a fleet of NMT trucks by mid-January.
An official announcement is expected later today, but Hoover did confirm in an email that NEP reached an agreement with NMT late Monday to purchase HD4, HD7, HD8, DX3, DX10, DX14, DX15, LS1, LS2, and associated support trucks along with the NMT Hawaii Division and the ABC, ESPN and FOX contracts currently held by NMT. The transaction is expected to close in mid-January. NMT employees working these contracts and mobile units will be invited to join NEP.
