NEP Schedules Auction of Surplus Gear
ALLENTOWN, PA.: NEP Broadcasting will be auctioning off surplus gear in October. The company has contracted Joseph Finn Co. to conduct the auction Oct. 6. It will take place at NEP’s facility at 2027 South 12th St., Bldg. 5 in Allentown, Pa. at 10 a.m. There will be live bidding online via Web cast as well at www.bidspotter.com.
“Surplus equipment to be sold, via this auction only, will be open for inspection the morning of the auction or prior by appointment only,” the auction announcement said. Gear up for grabs includes cameras, lenses switchers, audio consoles, intercoms, VCRs and other equipment. The surplus list includes equipment from Sony, Ikegami, Canon, Dolby, Shure, Fujinon, Thomson, Grass Valley, Ampex, Omega, Lance, Leitch, RTS, Tek, Midas, Crest, Soundcraft, Yamaha, Wohler and others.
