New displays light up Tennessee Titans’ LP Field
The Tennessee Titans have upgraded displays at LP Field in Nashville while retaining existing scoreboard structures. Two new video displays, each measuring 24ft by 90ft, were retrofitted into the center of the end zone scoreboards this summer.
The two video displays complete phase two of a scoreboard upgrade that began prior to the start of the 2006 NFL season, when the Titans contracted with Daktronics to enhance other sections of the end zone scoreboards with new fixed digit LED scoreboards and full-color LED auxiliary displays.
The multimillion-dollar upgrades complete an integrated system that includes scoring, timing, statistics display, advertising and video. The open-air LP Field seats 69,000 fans and is shared with Tennessee State University.
