New DVD series helps non-video professionals create content
Class on Demand has made available a self-paced training DVD series, “How To Shoot and Produce,” designed to provide non-video professionals with the knowledge and techniques to create compelling and eye-catching movies using the latest consumer digital production tools.
Upon completion of the series, students will be able to create seemingly professional audio/video packages.
The first title in the series will teach how to make a movie of a soccer game using the Apple iMovie or Windows Movie Maker applications.
Subject lessons include filming the event, transferring and organizing media, editing, simple effects, adding titles and burning to a DVD or uploading to consumer-generated content Web sites such as YouTube. Each lesson dives deep into the subject matter, covering both terminology and application use.
