New Version of Avid Xpress Pro HD to Ship
The latest version of Avid Xpress Pro HD is slated to ship before the end of this year.
The software supports native Panasonic DVCPRO HD acquisition and editing, Avid DNxHD editing and has multicamera uses. Avid Xpress Pro HD also supports DV50 capture and output over FireWire, 24p and video effects over FireWire as well as expanded film support.
"Avid Xpress Pro HD allows editors to work with DV, SD, HD and film media in a single sequence, making it easy for them to edit projects that originated from multiple sources," said Tim Wilson, senior product marketing manager at Avid.
The software integrates with other Avid tools such as Media Composer Adrenaline HD or Avid DS Nitris systems in Avid DNxHD.
