New York Film Academy Adds Panasonic HD Camcorders
The New York Film Academy (NYFA) has recently added 30 Panasonic AG-HVX200 P2 high-definition camcorders to its supply of equipment used for training and production purposes.
NYFA has a student enrollment of more than 2,000 and offers courses in Hollywood, London, Paris, Florence and other locations, as well as New York. The school had previously purchased 12 AG-HVX200 camcorders and also has 150 Panasonic AG-DVX100A Mini-DV cameras.
“We believe the HVX200 is a fantastic choice for our students,” said Jerry Sherlock, the president and founder of NYFA. “With the HVX200, Panasonic has developed a very solid piece of technology that allows both professionals and students ease and reliability whether in the confines of a studio or on location. The benefits are numerous especially because it allows them the ability to switch from DV to HD according to their needs and budgets.”
The Panasonic AG-HVX200 records in both 720p and 1080i at 100 Mbps. It can capture images in 21 record modes.
NYFA was founded in 1992 and offers an accelerated bachelor’s and master of fine arts degree programs.
