Mountain Lake PBS WCFE in Plattsburgh, N.Y., picked up Leitch's AgileVision MPEG processing system for its DTV operation. The AgileVision is a rack-mounted DTV playout system with real-time encoders and an HD/SD server that manipulates emission-level MPEG signals. The station will use the system to facilitate the installation and integration of DTV broadcasting into its daily operation. Due to budget constraints, Mountain Lake PBS chose static PSIP generation for its DTV service. The AgileVision system features integrated static PSIP generation, external dynamic PSIP generators and an Emergency Alert System (EAS).
