Next Level Communications, broadband access equipment providers, are continuing an agreement offering their Full Service Access Platform to Bell Canada. The 3-year extended contract covers equipment for additional bundled video, data and voice rollouts in multidwelling units (MDUs) in Toronto.
The Next Level platform lets telco subscribers receive three digital channels simultaneously on several TVs, high-speed DSL Internet access and telephony services.
The contract will allow Bell Canada to expand its commercial base. Roughly 40 percent of Canada's residents live in MDUs and Bell Canada has over 14 million access lines, with over 5 million in the Toronto area.
