The agency said the hearing would provide an opportunity for those in the Chicago area to discuss media ownership, including specific issues facing that local market. Further details will be released later.
Previous FCC public hearings on media ownership were held in Los Angeles, Nashville, Tenn., Harrisburg, Pa. and Tampa Bay-St. Petersburg, Fla.
