Nucomm's "two box" digital ready portable system uses a triax cable (up to 300 meters) to interface the RF head to the Control unit.
The PT/RX5D has many of the same attributes as Nucomm's PT/RX3 and 6 series such as frequency agility, color bars with ID, universal power supply, video presence, remote standby and field tunable audio.
The unit comes with analog video and audio circuits standard and interfaces with most digital modulation formats including COFDM.
