Nverzion and 360 Systems Partner to Create Tapeless Environment
Broadcast software supplier Nverzion has teamed with 360 Systems to produce a system for television operations wishing to transition to tapeless operations at an affordable price.
The system is based on 360's Image server product and is designed to provide broadcasters with an automated video server system at a price tag of about $20,000.
Lynn Williams, Nverzion's engineering project manager spoke about his company's relations with 360 Systems.
"They have developed a server line that is easy to work with. The Image Server is a reliable, capable workhorse with a very straightforward interface."
The synergy between the two companies was further explained by Scott Murphy, Nverzion president and CEO.
"We prefer to use 360 Systems products whenever possible," Murphy said. "Cost-effectiveness, longevity and reliability make the combination of Nverzion and 360 Systems a great solution."
360 Systems introduced its Image Server product line in 2003 and now has an installed base of more than 2,000 servers.
