NXTcomm 2007: Amino Releases HD DVR for IPTV
By TVTechnology
published IPTV platform supplier Amino this week released its latest HD product, the DVR-enabled AmiNET530, an IPTV set-top box that enables the decoding of low bit-rate MPEG-4 (AVC/H.264) video streams and supports HD-level video and graphics.
Using its DVR functions, the next-gen STB can serve as a hub for all services and applications used for play, record and streamed video, and (with cross-platform client software) is compatible with a range of middleware and conditional access systems, according to Amino.
The 530 box’s VOD feature permits selection and viewing of content in an interactive real-time setting. Amino is based in London.
