Omneon Video Networks has received $12.5 million in funds from Accel Partners, Northwest Venture Partners and Advanced Technology Ventures as well as veteran investors Meritech, Intel Communications Fund and Lucent Venture Partners.
The funding boost raises Omneon's total to almost $70 million of venture capital and corporate funding. Formed in 1999, Omneon provides networked serving technology to the broadcast industry and has announced several recent sales to PBS and BSkyB.
