Broadcast automation and content management solutions provider OmniBus Systems is expanding its operations in the Asia-Pacific region. Responding to strong regional interest in the company's technologies and recent major broadcast installations, OmniBus has established sales and support staff in Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore, with a network of VARs throughout Indo-China, Australia, New Zealand and India.
The expansion in OmniBus's activities in the region follows significant installations at major broadcasters including NDTV, Astro, TV3, Discovery and Ascent Media.
"The Asia-Pacific region as a whole is experiencing a dynamic period of growth and has a very adventurous approach to new business models and technologies," said Laurie Mascott, EVP EMEA and APAC, OmniBus. "This means that there's a strong interest particularly in our IT-based products, including iTX and OPUS.
