Panasonic 24p Camcorders Capture Baton Rouge Show
A local travel show broadcast on the Cox cable network is being shot using Panasonic Mini-DV 3-CCD camcorders.
The Baton Rouge, La.-based "Scott Rogers Around Town Weekend TV Show" was created with business development firm 1stCo and airs on COX4, the regional COX cable network.
The 3CCD, on-camera features and ease of use were all factors in selecting the camcorders, according to Mathew Hodgkins, Around Town's executive director/producer.
"We obviously needed cameras that would give us a good quality live feed in the studio and great quality in the field," Hodgkins said.
The Mini-DV 3-CCD camcorder offers CineSwitch technology that supports 480i/60, cinema-style 480p/24fps and 480p/30fps image capture.
