Panasonic unveils new LCD broadcast monitor
The BT-LS1400 offers a high brightness of 450 cd/m², a high contrast of 400:1 and a wide viewing angel of 160 degrees horizontally and vertically.
Panasonic has expanded its broadcast-grade flat panel display product line with the BT-LS1400 14" 4:3 aspect ratio LCD monitor.
It offers a high brightness of 450 cd/m², a high contrast of 400:1 and a wide viewing angel of 160 degrees horizontally and vertically. It is equipped with a complete set of production-oriented display controls. Encased in a rugged metal cabinet, the BT-LS1400 is designed to provide a fast video response rate of 16msec, assuring super-sharp moving images with no after-images or color shift.
Professional inputs/outputs offered on the BT-LS1400 include: two composite, two S-Video, one Y/Pb/Pr component and one audio (an optional Serial Digital Input is available.). The unit is AC-powered with a low power consumption of 40 watts.
Other key features include: broadcast specification video performance; support of 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratio viewing; D65 and D93 color temperatures; SMPTE Color Bar Generator; built-in stereo speakers; Tally light and a GPI terminal for remote control. The BT-LS1400 weighs 10.1 pounds and its dimensions are 14” W x 12-1/8” H x 2-13/16” D. The monitor comes with a stand and it can be VESA-compliant mounted.
