Panasonic’s AG-HVX200 receives Industrial Design Excellence Award
Panasonic Broadcast’s HD, solid-state memory AG-HVX200 hand-held camcorder received a bronze in the 2006 Industrial Design Excellence Award (IDEA) competition for the best designed product in the business and industry. The IDEAs are co-sponsored by the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) and BusinessWeek magazine.
The DVCPRO HD P2 camcorder was recognized for its compact, portable design; multiple HD and SD formats; and workflow-enhancing P2 technology.
The HVX200 was among six Panasonic products honored with an IDEA. Panasonic received more IDEAs than any other corporation or design firm in this year’s competition. The awards are featured in the July 10 issue of BusinessWeek and online at www.businessweek.com.
