ParkerVision and DNF Controls streamline news production for WANE-TV
WANE-TV NewsChannel 15 in Fort Wayne, Ind., is using a joint ParkerVision/DNF Controls camera-control solution to control four robotic cameras for newscasts and taping of news breaks, promotions and public service announcements.
The combination of ParkerVision's DIGITAL CameraMan II system and DNF Controls' ST420 Shotbox provides instant and precise recall of camera presets for streamlined control over camera movements in an automated production environment.
DNF Controls' ST420 Shotbox memorizes camera presets and operates in conjunction with ParkerVision's DIGITAL SHOT Director to control WANE-TV's DIGITAL CameraMan systems. The ST420 allows the news production crew to keep track of camera presets easily by displaying learned camera moves on the control panel face. It also offers a virtual alphanumeric keyboard for creating and assigning preset labels.
