With the enhanced Anemone software, users can now attach an unlimited number of secondaries to each primary event in a playlist.
At NAB2006, Pebble Beach Systems will showcase new enhancements — including secondary event handling and media logging — to its Anemone and Neptune automation products.
Users are now able to attach virtually an unlimited number of secondaries to each primary event in a playlist. Complex secondary requirements such as DVE moves, graphical elements, subtitling and so on can now be managed very easily. A new intuitive user interface provides a simple means of displaying important information and avoids cluttering of playlists.
Another enhancement is the Media logger, a new low-resolution media browse tool, which is integrated into the standard Pebble Beach client. It enables users to browse low-resolution copies of material and to identify significant frames and segments, such as where commercials can be conveniently played.
In addition, the company will show Media Porthole and Razorfish, Pebble Beach's other media browse tools, working with Omneon Video Networks' ProBrowse files as well as IPV MPEG-4 files. It will also demonstrate integration of archives into its automation solutions using a Sony S-AIT (Super Advanced Intelligent Tape) drive.
