Photron to showcase 1 million frame per second camera
Photron will demonstrate Fastcam SA5 at the NAB Show, April 20-23, in Las Vegas.
With support for 7500fps at megapixel resolution (1024 x 1000), Photron’s new CMOS sensor delivers reduced resolution at a speed of more than 1 million frames per second. It features a 12-bit monochrome, 36-bit RGB color sensor with 20µm square pixels for superior dynamic range and color fidelity.
Other cameras at Photron’s NAB booth will include the Fastcam SA1, the high-speed imager used to capture slow-motion footage on Discovery Channel’s “Time Warp.” The SA1 was also used during the Beijing Summer 2008 Olympics to capture high-speed sporting events and to deliver instant slow-motion playback.
See Photron at the NAB Show in Booth SL4725A.
