Pinnacle Systems introduces its Liquid chrome editing system
Liquid chrome features codecs for I-frame MPEG-2 4:2:2 up to 50 Mbps, uncompressed and DV25 video formats, as well as extensive real-time 2D and 3D DVE capability, four real-time video streams, unlimited layering, and effects processing that renders complex, multi-layered effects without interrupting workflow.
Pinnacle Systems has announced Liquid chrome, a new video post-production system that brings together the company's popular Liquid editing application, the TARGA 3000 compositing engine and the K2 single-chip 3D DVE.
Liquid chrome is the latest addition to the line of Pinnacle Liquid networked editors. The product range also includes Liquid blue for multi-format broadcast environments, Liquid silver for less effects-intensive MPEG-2 post editing and Liquid purple for low-cost software-based DV editing applications. The Liquid product family also supports Pinnacle's Palladium networked storage systems.
