A Pinnacle Systems CineWave real-time editing and compositing system was used at the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences' 44th Grammy awards to edit the material for a Webcast at www.grammy.com.
Fifty backstage interviews of Grammy winners were edited on CineWave and posted to the site during the show. A producer said that the effort was designed to get the interviews to the fans as quickly as possible, and that the CineWave worked well in the fast-paced environment.
