Pinnacle's Graphics Go to Athens
Calif.-based Pinnacle is pairing with Televisa to expand the Spanish speaking company's HD and SD graphics infrastructure for its coverage of the 2004 Summer Olympics.
The Pinnacle package includes two FXDeko II, three Deko2200 and one HD Deko500 character generator systems have been paired with three dual-channel Thunder LT clip servers, a Lightning still server and two Dual Channel DVExcel DVE systems.
"Pinnacle's Deko is the benchmark graphics tool for the Olympic Games and Televisa would use nothing else to cover this signature global event," Televisa's Elias Rodriguez said.
The equipment will be installed at Televisa Chapultepec, the production hub for the network.
