Pixel Power will debut in the United States its real-time CG-3D animation system at NAB2007. The system is the latest option for the company's Clarity range of SD/HD switchable graphics generators.
Designed to enable inexperienced operators to create real-time 3-D animations, the system uses parametric control of elements, lighting and moves. Capable of both automated control and input, CG-3D is a field upgrade for existing Clarity HD/SD systems.
Complex models can be created or imported from third-party 3-D systems and edited — using built-in controls, parametric primitives, lighting control and keyframe structure.
Text and graphics layers from Clarity can be texture-mapped onto 3-D models, including live video feeds, animated text, cell animations, images and clocks. Automated data input from sports statistics systems can be fed directly onto the surfaces of 3-D objects.
In addition, Pixel Power will demonstrate Logovision for HD, a logo generator, and enhanced Clarity Control Toolbox data controls.
