Plan Now to Learn More About Broadcast Engineering This Fall
If you are interested in learning more about RF and TV broadcasting, you may want to try to attend one of the two courses on VSB technology that Gary Sgrignoli will be offering this fall.
He’ll be in Albuquerque, N.M., Sept. 24 presenting his VSB fundamentals course. On Monday, Oct. 20, he will be presenting his VSB Measurements course in Indianapolis, Ind. Gary updates material continuously so if it’s been a while since you attended one of his course it may be worth a refresher. More information is available on the MSW DTV Transmission and Measurement Seminars Web page.
The 58th annual IEEE Broadcast Symposium will be held in Alexandria, Va., Oct. 15-17. As I’ve written before, in my opinion this is the best conference in the country for learning about new RF technology for both TV and radio. I’ll have more on the Symposium in future RF Reports, but you can find information and registration forms now on the 58th annual IEEE Broadcast Symposium Web page.
