Politics, media and digital signage intersect at National Press Club

The government is finding a new way to influence prominent journalists covering the dealings that affect the nation’s policies.

The National Press Club in Washington, D.C., has implemented a new digital signage system to deliver high-quality images and video that conveys information to its more than 200,000 annual visitors. The digital signage system, located in the Press Club’s main entrance lobby, features an LG 60in HD plasma screen powered by Harris InfoCaster creation station software.

The National Press Club is displaying a wide range of informational images and video, including graphics and details for upcoming events, maps of the facility, scrolling news bars and video promos for its on-site digital broadcast studio, restaurants and meeting rooms.

The National Press Club seeks to enrich the experience of its visitors by providing up-to-the-minute information and eliminating the time and costs associated with producing traditional paper posters.
