Puerto Rico's Tu Universo Television is upgrading its broadcast and production facilities with three Euphonix Mair Air Consoles.
Tu Universo Television (TUTV), one of two educational broadcasting networks in Puerto Rico, is upgrading its main broadcast and production facilities with three Euphonix Max Air consoles.
The consoles will be installed this summer in the TUTV studios in San Juan. TUTV is planning to use the consoles for all its productions and news.
Director of engineering, Jorge Gonzalez explained what made TUTV purchase not one, but three Euphonix Max Air Consoles. "The Euphonix Max Air digital console was evaluated as part of a public bid,” he said. “What distinguished Max Air from the rest of the consoles was its advanced design, reliability and value. Ergonomically, it was created for fast access and control. When it came to dependability, the software and hardware design of Max Air focuses on system and power supply redundancy, which makes us feel comfortable in critical live on-air situations.
