Puerto Rico Lower 700 MHz Band Auction Concludes
FCC Auction 60 has closed and the winning bids were announced. This auction was for lower 700 MHz spectrum in part of Puerto Rico. Aloha Partners, LP won auctions for spectrum in Mayaguez and Arecibo with net winning bids of $130,000 and $113,100 respectively. FLASSH Communications had net winning bids of $14,950 and $4,355 for Puerto Rico 1 - Rincon and Puerto Rico 7 - Culebra, respectively. Kinetik picked up the Puerto Rico 5 - Ceiba, for a net winning bid of $42,750.
This auction was for TV channels 54 and 59, both of which are in use or authorized for TV broadcast use in Puerto Rico.
