Pulsar TV switches to Ross
Argentina’s Pulsar TV has purchased two Vision QMD/X video production switchers from Ross Video for its conversion to HD production in 2010. Pulsar TV specializes in live events and will use the Vision 2.5 and Vision 3 switchers to produce live sports, concerts, orchestras, reality shows and more from two mobile trucks. Both trucks will be complete in February 2009 to broadcast the A.T.P. Tennis Tournament taking place in Buenos Aires.
The Ross Video Vision QMD/X switcher features four keys per mix/effects (M/E) channel and up to four M/Es and is available in both a small and large chassis. The compact (3RU) QMD provides four full four-keyer M/Es, six keys downstream and 48 multidefinition inputs. The large-chassis QMD/X offers four full four-keyer M/Es, six keys downstream and 96 multidefinition inputs.
