Quantel is teaming up with DayPort to integrate Dayport's Web publishing and asset management technology into Quantel's sQ platform.
DayPort, a Mankato, Minn.-based provider of video streaming, workflow and convergence technologies will integrate its Carbon product line with Quantel's sQ production and playout tools. The Carbon line includes Web publishing content management tools, production workflow tools and broadcast content and asset management applications.
"Our partnership with Quantel allows more clients to seamlessly publish their content to 'other' destinations while enhancing the production process," said Glenn Miller, CEO, DayPort.
Broadcast content from the sQ systems can be re-purposed for Web or PDA viewing with DayPort's Carbon Publish tool, according to Norman Rouse, Quantel marketing manager.
