Quantel to exhibit new developments in generationQ systems
Quantel's gQ platform and QPaintbox Pro workstations with their power, networkability and openness, are at the heart of a centralized graphics production system.
Quantel will show its full range of generationQ systems for DI, post, graphics and news/sports at NAB2004.
The generationQ systems remain a unique proposition; a completely scalable range of systems designed from the ground up to handle multi-resolution workflows. In post, generationQ scales from the desktop all the way to real-time 2k processing; in news and sports, from the smallest local broadcaster to the international provider.
NAB will be the first time a large group will see Quantel's new Version 2 software for generationQ. Featuring a host of enhancements and improvements, including even more advanced workflow ergonomics and a process tree interface option, V2 will be available across the entire generationQ range in the coming weeks.
The generationQ range to be shown at NAB2004 includes:
- Post: eQ, the resolution co-existent HD editor, designed from the ground up.
- News/sports: generationQ is based on the IT/broadcast bilingual sQ server with its integrated, scalable range of timeline editing applications.
- Graphics: Quantel's gQ platform and QPaintbox Pro workstations with their power, networkability and openness, are at the heart of a centralized graphics production system.
