Radiant Communications unveils DL-227 universal fiber transceiver
The DL-227 from Radiant Communications meets IEEE standard 802.3z/ab requirements and is backwards compatible with previously released Radiant products.
Radiant Communications has launched a universal fiber optic transceiver, the DL-227.
The DL-227 enables auto negotiation of various transmission speeds including 10-, 100- and 1000Mb/s.
The copper-to-fiber media converter transmits up to 1Gb/s. The transceiver’s fiber port operates in full duplex mode, so the transmission distance is only limited by the power of the optics.
It meets IEEE standard 802.3z/ab requirements and is backwards compatible with previously released Radiant products. In addition, it can automatically configure MDI crossover and detect and self-correct common wiring problems, including pair swaps, skew and polarity issues.
