Raycom Media Adding AP's ENPS
Raycom Media is adding the Associated Press's ENPS newsroom production system to 11 of its group stations. The stations are located in Louisville, Ky; Toledo, Ohio; Jackson, Miss.; Evansville, Ind.; Jonesboro, Ark.; Tyler, Texas; Montgomery, Ala.; Albany, Ga.; Lubbock, Texas; Biloxi, Miss.; and Lake Charles, La.
"Raycom Media is really thrilled to expand its currently productive relationship with AP and with ENPS in particular," said David Folsom, vice president and CTO for Raycom Media Inc. "We feel that ENPS machine control integration with the full newsroom through the MOS protocol is a critical part of our news strategy going forward."
The project is expected to conclude by the end of 2007.
The ENPS system was first released in 1997 and is now used in more than 500 newsrooms in 48 countries.
