SeaChange International's VOD systems are providing on-demand TV to RCN Corp.'s customers in the Boston and New York markets. RCN's "Impulse on Demand" is live in the Greater Boston suburbs as well as Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens.
Impulse on Demand allows customers to order and view a program an unlimited number of times during a 24-hour access period. Programming includes movies, sports and children's selections. RCN has also deployed VOD systems for its Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley, Penn. subscribers.
