RF Central to spotlight HD-upgradeable camera-mount transmitters at NAB Show
RF Central will feature the RFX-CMT-II camera-mounted transmitters in 2GHz and 5.8GHz versions at the NAB Show, April 20-23, in Las Vegas.
The 2GHz unit is designed for live ENG news and sports broadcast applications, and the 5.8GHz unit is geared for live sports stadium, arena coverage and license-free applications. Both offer complete HD upgradeability with the latest high-quality, low-latency HD encoding technology.
Each features HD, SDI, ASI or composite video signal inputs. The units excel in live broadcasts, live stadium displays, surveillance, monitoring and situational awareness applications.
The compact systems offer a variable 6MHz, 7MHz and 8MHz modulator, 100mw power output and full MPEG menu control. The 2GHz and 5.8GHz CMT-II’s linear RF amplification technology limits spectral regrowth at full power to less than -35dBc, offering robust RF performance.
