RFS presents complete spectrum of DTV upgrade options
With digital broadcasting on the rise in Europe, Radio Frequency Systems (RFS) will display its comprehensive range of total broadcast system solutions at IBC 2003.
At IBC, RFS will exhibit an example of every component in the RF chain required for the upgrade to digital broadcasting -from antennas, combiner systems and associated patch panels to rigid and flexible feeder systems.
Of particular note will be the company’s compact low-power combiner. Optimized for the 20 to 250 Watt range, these integrated units support analog/digital combining and critical mask filtering of digital channels. At the other end of the power scale, a typical RFS high power waveguide filter module will also be on display.
RFS will also exhibit an example of a broadband UHF panel array, which is gaining wide acceptance in DTV broadcasting. The display will be complemented by a UHF slot antenna, which is proving particularly useful for temporary services during site upgrade activities.
Other equipment on the RFS stand will include a new range of digital audio broadcasting (DAB) filters, the company’s Antenna System Monitor with digital display and RFS’s popular and comprehensive range of HELIFLEX flexible transmission lines.
