Robert Weller Returns to the FCC
Robert Weller, a consulting engineer with the firm Hammett and Edison, will be leaving that company next week to return to the FCC in Washington. Weller previously worked at the FCC from 1984 until 1993, before joining Hammett and Edison.
Weller will have the title “Physical Scientist” and will be the agency’s expert in human exposure to non-ionizing radiation. His role will match the one formerly held by Bob Cleveland.
“This is a very interesting opportunity at the intersection of research and policy, and I look forward to increasing my knowledge in that area,” Weller said.
I’ve worked with Bob Weller on many projects and always appreciated his expertise and insight. Please join me in wishing him the best in his new role at the FCC!
