Rogers Cable reports strong customer uptake of HD

published Canadian cable operator Rogers Cable Communications has reported strong growth during the past year in HDTV subscriptions.
Since November 2005, Rogers HDTV customers have more than doubled, with more than 200,000 HDTV households now subscribing to the service.
The cable operator also reported strong growth in the number of customers who are choosing the Personal TV experience with more than a third of new HDTV customers adding an HD PVR to their service in 2006.
