Rohde & Schwarz unveils new test, measurement, transmitter solutions
At this year's NAB, Rohde & Schwarz will unveil new test and measurement solutions like the DVM family for monitoring and analyzing MPEG-2 streams and the new UPV audio analyzer.
The DVM400 is a compact unit for MPEG-2 analysis, recording and replay that’s suitable for mobile use. The DVM50 will also be shown. It can monitor one or two transport streams in parallel.
The DVM-K11 option, an enhancement for the entire DVM family, is also being launched. The company will also show its SFU test transmitter for newly developed transmission methods. The SFU can handle the new DVB-S2 satellite transmission standard.
The UPV audio analyzer is a new compact instrument for all measurements occurring in the analog and digital audio world. Digital audio interfaces up to 192 kHz sampling rate, expanded measurement bandwidths and powerful analysis tools are just a few of the instrument's highlights.
It can perform several measurement functions simultaneously, and presents the results in conclusive graphics that can be intuitively operated using the Windows operating system.
