RTNDA selects new chairman

published Bill Roswell, director of digital news and media at KYW-AM in Philadelphia, has been elected as the new chairman of the Radio-Television News Directors Association (RTNDA).
He succeeds Angie Kucharski, VP and station manager at WBZ-TV/WSBK-TV in Boston.
Ed Esposito, VP of information media for WAKR/WONE/WQMX in Akron, OH, is RTNDA's chair-elect.
RTNDA voting members also elected two directors-at-large:
- Janice Gin, associate news director, KTVU-TV, Oakland, CA;
- Brian Trauring, news director, WTVG-TV, Toledo, OH.
RTNDA members elected the new board members last week during their annual meeting at the RTNDA@NAB exhibit in Las Vegas.
