RTS to launch Zeus III digital intercom at NAB
RTS Intercom Systems will debut its new Zeus III Digital Intercom Matrix at NAB 2009. The Zeus III supersedes the company’s Zeus & Zeus II matrix frames.
The Zeus III features 32 channels I/O, and two configurable partyline interface channels. Its compact size was designed for limited space requirements. Using the Ethernet or USB connections, the Zeus III can be configured from virtually anywhere on the network using AZedit Intercom software.
The system uses standard RJ45 connectors making it easier to connect an intercom system with audio lines and key panels by keeping the RTS wiring scheme. The two built-in relays can be used to control lighting or to key remote transmitters, paging systems, etc.
The Zeus III is designed for those users in need of the flexibility of a networked matrix frame and the simplicity of a partyline system. Partyline users who are beginning to outgrow their system can connect the Zeus III and gain expansion options, without abandoning their current investment.
