If HD is the new passion for some, Samsung picked the right Tony-awarding winning play to broadcast live in HD from Lincoln Center in NYC to an audience at the Time Warner Center at its ongoing "Samsung Experience."
Last week, Samsung presented the free HD simulcast of Stephen Sondheim's "Passion" starring Tony winners Patti LuPone and Audra McDonald, from Lincoln Center's Rose Hall to the Time Warner exhibition. Samsung's ongoing exhibit is an interactive showcase designed to demonstrate the South Korean firm's vision of the digital convergence. If the Big Apple's answer to overflow crowds continues to include free, live HD simulcasts of entertainment events with free refreshments, this could be the start of something big!
