The television and video communications department at Santa Ana College has selected For-A's VPS-400D digital video switcher as a component of its upgrade to an all-digital, tapeless educational production facility.
The community college offers associate degrees and certificate programs to students seeking broadcast industry careers, and will use the switcher for video production classes and for control of multi-lingual student-produced weekly news programs. The For-A system can handle a mix of both existing analog sources and serial digital signals.
