Satellite Update

The FCC granted, with conditions, PanAmSat Licensee’s request for special temporary authority (STA) to conduct space station telemetry, track and control operations on the SBS-6 satellite for a period of 30 days, starting July 8, 2007, to drift the satellite from 74.05 degrees west longitude to 73.95 degrees WL and to operate SBS-6 at that location using conventional Ku-band frequencies.

The FCC determined ATCONTACT Communications LLC has met the contract execution milestone associated with its authorization for a Ka-band satellite system. The system consists of geostationary and non-geostationary satellites.

On June 29, 2007, the FCC granted Sirius Satellite Radio STA to operate 15 terrestrial repeaters at power levels at or below 2 kW EIRP for a period of 180 days at the locations described in the exhibit attached to its application with the technical parameters requested in the application.
