Hughes Network Systems and Celsat America have returned some Ka-band satellite authorizations to the FCC. Locations returned include 101 degrees East Longitude (EL), 111 degrees EL, 49 degrees West Longitude (WL), 25 degrees EL, and 83 degrees WL. In the Public Notice announcing the surrender of the licenses, the FCC also included an updated list of all the Ka-band orbit locations where commercial licenses have been assigned or which have been authorized for Federal Government operations.
