The FCC granted a request by EchoStar Satellite LLC to change its Direct to Home Ku- and Ka-band fixed satellite authorization at the 123 degree West Longitude (WL) orbital location to the 117 degree WL location. For more information, see FCC Report SAT-00259.
EchoStar filed an application to modify its authorization to construction, launch and operate a geostationary satellite using extended-Ku frequencies at 121 degrees West Longitude to add the frequency band 10.95 to 11.2 GHz to its licensed downlink frequencies.
